Blower Motor Replacement | STANDARD
Standard replacement of evaporator blower motor and motor mounted pulley as per industry standards.
This is a standard evaporator blower motor replacement, wherein we remove and replace the motor and pulley to insure proper unit repair.
Step 1: 2. Perform required lockout/tag out safety protocol of NFPA70E of all high voltage electrical circuits prior to beginning work on the unit.
Step 2: Remove and dispose of existing evaporator blower motor and motor mounted adjustable drive pulley.
Step 3: Furnish and install (1) new evaporator blower motor and motor mounted adjustable drive pulley.
Step 4: Properly align motor mounted pulley and blower wheel pulley.
Step 5: Reinstall existing drive belt or new replacement as/if required and adjust tension for proper deflection.
Step 5: Basic start-up and testing of newly installed evaporator blower motor to ensure that it is performing with in manufacturers specifications as per the unit’s nomenclature.
